We arrived in Mumbai on Thursday and enjoyed some relaxation time to catch up after the long trip from Uganda. Arriving at the end of Diwali celebrations made the visit even more spectacular as Thursday evening the nigthsky was filled with fireworks!! On Friday we went exploring and did a little shopping until a very large crow decided to anoint Nick. The walk ended as Nick could not take the smell so we returned to the hotel to clean him up. It is good luck so Nick received PLENTY of good luck this afternoon.
We are now in Warangal - 3 hours (120 km) from Hyderabad - and will be visiting the water well on Wednesday. We will write more about our adventures and post some pictures soon thereafter...

- We are excited to begin a 3 month adventure in 2013 to some of our favourite destinations and to some new areas as well!! We begin in London (back to Derby) then Singapore and onwards to Vietnam. Arriving in Kathmandu, Nepal, we begin volunteering with Habitat for Humanity Global Village. India will be our next stop as we are taking a Community Driven Development Course with Bala Vikasa in Warangal. Looking forward to visiting schools and seeing the latest water well fundraised by the BSS students!! Thanks to these students for inspiring Nick and I to continue to give back! Indonesia and Australia will finish off our travels in December. A whirlwind tour of volunteering and learning - lots of unique adventures and experiences to be shared - stay tuned!
